The #CACM is the premier global anti-corruption management certification program [1]. It equips decision makers, including executive management and those charged with governance, with the required anti-corruption knowledge and skills to enable them primarily to prevent corruption. It is not uncommon to find CACMs in all sorts of professions: lawyer, physician, banker, insurance expert, military, police, judge, certified public accountant, university professor, financial investigator, journalist, a member of parliament, public servants, etc.

Expectations from the Certified Anti-Corruption Manager (CACM)

Becoming a #CACM is challenging and requires dedication, determination, time, money, and discipline. It is an investment that should have an adequate return on it. In other words, a CACM candidate should meet one or more of the following non-exhaustive expectations once he becomes a #CACM:

1- Educate his business environment about what he learned from the #CACM skills and knowledge. For example, he may conduct three hours presentation about one or more of the topics of the CACM syllabus [2] that are relevant to his audience.

2- Conduct lectures at universities to raise awareness of the students, administration, and faculty about fighting corruption. For example, he may present and discuss the Principles of Fighting Corruption [3].

3- Educate his peers about the #CACM and its importance in preventing, deterring, and detecting corruption. He should encourage them to become CACMs.

4- Participate in local and international conferences and be proud of being a #CACM.

5- Write and engage in social media platforms to spread the word about @theaaci and #CACM using the hashtags as shown.

6- Use the CACM acronym after his name on all media platforms.

7- Publish on @theaaci blog or its media platforms opinions or articles that support the fight against corruption in compliance with @theaaci Principles of Fighting Corruption.

Passing the #CACMexam is not the end. The real journey of fighting corruption starts once a CACM candidate becomes a CACM. Therefore, we are always proud of our CACMs who make a difference in their communities.
